Pastor Mark Zimmerly grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area and spent about twenty years coming and going from Seattle before moving to the Chicago area in 2019. He’s a graduate of McCormick Theological Seminary (Class of 2008). Mark has two sons—Elijah, 18, who’s at Iowa State University, and Caleb, 13. He and Caleb live in Indian Head Park with their dog, Abbey, 5. When he’s not doing church things, Mark enjoys getting outside for active adventures, watching movies, practicing contemplative prayer, and playing pickleball.
